Course Objective

The aim of this course is to present current approaches, discussions and problems related to teaching of history subjects in social studies course and to evaluate the trends in academic researches on this subject.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To have knowledge about current approaches in history teaching
2   To be able to analyze current problems and discussions on history teaching
3   To be able to evaluate current academic researches about history teaching with different dimensions
4   To have knowledge about scientific research methods and techniques
5   Getting the skills to present the researches and implications in oral and written form.
