Course Objective

The students who completes this course gains knowledge about the basic concepts of clinical decision making in pulmonary diseases. Comprehends pulmonary problems and patient-specific physiotherapy, rehabilitation evaluation and selection and application of treatment methods in the clinical decision-making process through case studies.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Gains knowledge about the clinical decision-making process in pulmonary diseases and basic concepts in problem-based case studies.
2   Determines problem-oriented goals in physiotherapy rehabilitation of pulmonary patients and selects specific evaluation and treatment methods for the goals.
3   Uses evidence-based information, patient outcome measures, and own knowledge in clinical decision making and research planning.
4   Fulfills ethical and legal requirements when interacting with individuals with pulmonary disease, their families, and healthcare professionals.
