Course Objective

At the end of this course, the student is expected to;This course aims to make the students observe the creative process between the script, which is a written form, and the film, which is an audiovisual language, by analyzing comparatively the script whose analysis, showing and applied and experimental exercises were done in the previous term and the original film.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Learn the techniques of writing a script in dramatic structure
2   Learn the components which shape the script on a sample script such as characters, situation, space/time, story line dependent on cause and effect relationship.
3   .Learn practically the works at desk period prior to the process when the script which is a written form is becoming a film which is an audiovisual language
4   Learn the aesthetic components of a film; acting, camera angles and scales, framing, composition, color, light, scenery and costuming by practicing them in workshops
5   Learn how to make a storyboard and write a shooting script.

1 Lecture on what is Cinema Dramaturgy. Dramaturgy-Film Direction / Dramaturg-Film Director.
