Course Objective

This course aims to teach theoretically the development of the history of animation from the pre-cinema era to the advent of television. While the students learn about important animated films, their directors and the effects of the films, they also examine the techniques and methods in which the films was shot.

1   To know about animation artists, directors and studios.
2   To have knowledge about traditional animation types and techniques.
3   Understanding how technological developments affected the animation art.
4   To have knowledge about important works of animation art.
5   To be able to solve problems encountered in the production pipeline
