Course Objective |
The aim of this course is to provide up-to-date information on pain and emergency, dental traumas, root canal retreatments, endodontic treatment sessions and interdisciplinary applications in endodontics, and to apply this knowledge practically during patient treatment |

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods |
The course will be offered in the classroom. Lecture notes will be given to the students. Students will follow the course from lecture notes and textbooks. Students should be able to use the knowledge they have learned in all branches up to this class in their clinical training. |

Further Notes About Assessment Methods |
There is no midterm exam for clinical practice. Clinical practice has a 50% effect on the final exam average of students who successfully complete the application thresholds announced at the beginning of the year. Students who cannot complete the application threshold cannot take the final exam. They can complete the application thresholds up to 1 day before the block-end exam and take the block-end exam. |
Assessment Criteria |
1. The student should be able to identify the causes of endodontic pain, dental and non-dental pain. |

Attendance to 70% of the theorotical, 80% of the practical courses is compulsory. |
