Course Objective

This course aims to introduce key theories and debates of international relations, and to provide students with the analytical tools necessary to relate theories to world problems

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Describe and explain the key theories in international relations
2   Evaluate and compare the key theories of international relations
3   Assess the key role of international relations theories to understand global problems
4   Apply theoretical ideas and concepts to actual events and outcomes in order to lay a basis for analyzing international affairs
5   Communicate to demonstrate the ability to employ IR terminology
