Course Objective

The aim of the course is to provide basic and contemporary knowledge in the field of cell biology to undergraduate level students. to teach main concepts of cytology to students such as cell chemistry structure, cell wall and membrane structure, relationships between organelles, analytical thinking about cytology, experimental logic. The goals of the course are to teach the basic structure and organization of the cell, the functions of different cellular components in biological events within the cells.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Have to information about cell structure, learn to cell and organelles functions and relations
2   To learn the structure of prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells.
3   To understand carbohydrates, lipids, nucleic acids, proteins.
4   To gain knowledge of current issues of cell biology
