Course Objective

The aim of the course is to describe General First Aid knowledge and both natural disasters and accidents we face in our daily lives. The target of the course is to provide our students succeeded to have the First Aid Certificate approved by the Ministry of Health.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To comprehend the importance of first aid,
2   To be able to work coordinately with other helpful people in a natural disaster
3   To learn how to treat against bleeding and injuries
4   To learn how to carry injured associated with fractures and sprains
5   To be able to avoid any possible mistakes during first aid

1 General first aid information Praxis in the execution area
2 Evaluation of patient and scene of accident
3 Triage
4 Basic life support
5 First aid in bleedings
6 First aid in injuries
7 First aid in sensory loss (swooning, coma,suffering attack, epilepsy)
8 General repetition
9 Hypoglycemia, heart attack, stroke, difficulty in breathing, allergy
10 Fractures and sprains
11 Rectal, aural, and nasal foreign body
12 Drowning in water
13 First aid in burnst, warm and cold
14 First aid in poisoning and animal bites and insect stings
15 Final exam
