Course Objective

To know world religions sacred texts especially of Judaism, Christianity and Islam; to gain an idea about these texts main themes with some pattern of passages; to know important places that mentioned in these texts in respect of religious tourism.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Students will know the terms sacred text , written and oral sacred tradition .
2   They will perceive main features of the sacred texts and their contents.
3   Students will have an idea about sacred texts themes and their reflections on societies.
4   They will can make comparisons between these texts in terms of their views of universe, humankind and society.
5   They will know the places which mentioned these sacred texts and their importance according to the believers.
