Course Objective

Provision of information on architecture and type of use of the ancient sacred places in Western Anatolia.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Understand the basics of buildings and monuments of the most important cities in ancient times.
2   Categorize the major historical events affecting Anatolia
3   Relate archaeological and historical data to the current situation
4   Search the literature of historical and religious sanctuary relating to Anatolia
5   Take part in technical excursions and seminars to provide individual responsibility and group work activities
