Course Objective

It is aimed to understand and discuss the concept of Cosmopolitan Citizenship together with the concepts of nation, citizenship, social classes, globalization, and multiculturalism.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   They acquire basic information about the field of citizenship,
2   They learn the theories related to the field of citizenship,
3   Gain knowledge about globalization and multiculturalism,
4   They have an idea about the Criticism of Cosmopolitan Society Thought,
5   They can discuss about Cosmopolitan Citizenship by gaining a sociological perspective.
