Course Objective

Migration is one of the most important factors that ensure social transformation in the modern period as well as throughout history. In this course, internal migration in Türkiye is aimed to study the work related to international migration and them.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to analyze migration and its consequences as a social reality and view the issue from a sociology perspective.
2   To be able to interpret social events on the reflections of migration in social life within the framework of sociologists and their theories and will be able to look critically.
3   To gain scientific competence in enlightening the problems that arise as a result of migration.
4   In social life, he / she will think interdisciplinary about population and migration and will be equipped sociologically.
5   To develop research projects, perspectives, concepts and gain scientific competence to understand, explain and base on how scientific migration occurs.
