Course Objective

It is aimed to provide students a thorough understanding of the strategic importance of quality standards and how these standards can be constructed in the company.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Demonstrate an understanding of ISO 9000 and ISO 14000 standards to provide that quality requirements are fulfilled.
2   To make a field study in groups in order to be able to distinguish the quality assurance systems in companies.
3   To define problems regarding quality assurance systems in order to identify and bring recommendations about the solution of the problem.
4   Improve oral and written communication skills through class discussions and presentations.
