Course Objective |
The course objective is to inform students on basic economics, commerce and banking; to introduce diverse economic systems and to familiarize them with the lingual features in various economy texts. |

Lectures will be made face-to-face in an interactive way. Students will practice critical thinking and develop reading skills. Reading activities will be performed in a dynamic, critical and effective way, with special emphasis on text types. |

There will be one mid-term and one final exam in a term. Students will be given reading texts about economy and homeworks. Students are expected to read the texts, do the assignments and participate in classroom discussion. |
