Course Objective |
This course takes a critical look at issues of gender in translated texts, source texts and translation process as well as in profession. Readings will include articles addressing gender and feminism in translation studies scholarship and examples of feminist translation. |

Assessment Criteria |
The students will take one mid-term (30%) and one final exam (40%) in a term. In addition, the students are expected to read the articles given, to complete their assignments in due time and to participate in classroom discussion. Their assignments, participation in the classroom activities and attendance will also be taken into consideration (30%). |
