Course Objective

Course Objective: Developments in basic science "results-oriented" translate to oncology practice. Oncology discipline is evolving from the laboratory bench to the bedside approach in recent years. Discussion of this interface approach will be useful in understanding the development process. The course content; "From the laboratory to the bedside of cancer" overview, risk assessment molecular approaches and individual risk assessment, Translational individualized and targeted treatment approach, overlooking the oncology disease management, Multidisciplinary Council Structure and Operating Principles, Translational Approaches in gynecologic cancer, Head and Neck Cancer, Colorectal Cancer, Lung Cancer,Urogenital Cancer, Breast Cancer issues will be discussed.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   1. Knowledgeable about the concept of translational medicine from the bench to the bed.
2   2. Be able to understand the individual risk assessment.
3   3. Be able to know multidisciplinary Cancer Council Structure and Operating
4   4. Be able to recognize and comprehend translational individual, targeted therapies in cancer
5   5. Be able to express the translational approaches in the management of oncologic diseases.
6   6. Be able to design a research on translational cancer management
