Course Objective

It is the acquisition of practices in the museographic process of ephemera documents, which are among the museum and archive collections. Within the scope of the course, it is aimed to provide ephemera collections, to describe them, to classify and coding process, to transfer repair/conservation and storage methods, digitization and access applications.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   1. Learns archive management of ephemera collection material.
2   2. Gains knowledge about the classification of the material.
3   3. Can follow the museographic process of ephemera collections.
4   4. Can manage the open archive and access methods of archive collections.
5   5. Gains knowledge about active conservation practices applied on ephemera documents.
