Course Objective

The art manager's ability to establish a solid foundation of art culture is linked to his acquisition of a deep art culture. First of all, it is necessary to get to know the cultural environment in which one lives. In this regard, the aim of the course is; In the section whose main focus is art and culture, it is to introduce the history of contemporary Turkish-Painting art in detail from the last periods of the Ottoman Empire to the Republic period. In the course, artistic developments in this process will be examined in connection with social, economic and political conditions. Developments in the fields of painting and sculpture will be discussed in detail together with the artists and their works, as well as the art and cultural institutions, artist unions and museums established in this direction.

2   To analyse a work of art in the light of art history
3   To be informed about the establishment, content and importance of art museums
4   To recognize the periods, movements, artists, subject, style, materials and technical features of a contemporary Turkish art history
