Course Objective |
The aim of the course is to provide the ability to solve and resist the direction of threat of chaotic atmosphere emerged by different reactions which disasters create on settlement security. Nowadays, terrorist attacks are one of the important reasons of major crisis. Terrorist attacks threaten city-region and country security in every level. Issues such as crisis administration (including risk) linked to terrorist attacks, the assessment of terrorist risks along with law enforcement agencies, the planning of intervention operations after attacks, the anxiety that may arise in society, the management of fear and panic require disciplinary approaches. The course "Disaster Administration and Terrorist Attacks" which can be evaluated as a basic lesson is to teach the public manager the knowledge and skills about the evaluation of terror risks, analyzing and managing crisis situations related to terrorism in disaster plans in the world and our country where the terrorist incidents are frequent. |
