Course Objective

The aim of this course is to conceive Plato s system of thought by reference to his texts. The unique aspects of a systematical philosopher Plato s epistemology, ontology, ethics and political understanding will be discussed in order to improve the text analysis abilities of the students.

1   Conceiving the properties of philosophical thinking
2   Conceiving the relations of philosophy with different problem fields
3   Conceiving Plato s epistemology
4   Inquiring being-knowledge relation with respect to Plato s texts
5   Conceiving the relations between Plato s epistemology and his ontology, ethics and political understanding
