Course Objective

With this course, the student is to gain qualifications for managing the database and servers.

Course Contents

Week Subject Description
1 Setting up of at least two server programs according to industry standards
2 Database management panel set up, create a database and define users. Define user roles.
3 Create a database and identify users, identify the tables and diagrams, to manage.
4 Defining table. Managing diagrams. Performing data export tasks.
5 Performing data export tasks. Creating new database from existing database.
6 Creating View and Triggers.
7 Creating subprograms. Defining users modifying data types
8 Midterm Exam.
9 Define indexes.
10 Edit rules and default values
11 Data multiplication processes.
12 Prepare maintenance plan.
13 Performance analysis and upgrade

Assessment Criteria

Mid-term exam and final exam to measure learning outcomes, and in-class applications
with the five outcomes that will be followed in reaching the stage of the student.
