Course Objective

The purpose of the course is to make Students collect information on topics related to their own field. By doing literature researches, they gather, discuss and synthesise those informations and present the result as a report.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   The Student shall be able to make detailed literature researches on past and current art and design issues and his/her own professional field.
2   The student shall be able to synthesise the gathered information, to analyse, evaluate and render them by corroborating with quantitative and qualitative data.
3   The Student shall be able to use the final results to put into academic report form.
4   Students are able to prepare an art adn/or design exhibition supported by research and reviews.
5   The Student shall be able to present his/her acquired results to peolple from and out of his/her specialization field in vocal and visual seminars.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

A bibliography study of the selected subject is done, and main and supplementary resources are determined. After settling the research method, the students studies are observed and directed by weekly periods.
