Course Objective |
The aim of this course is to define the depict mentality formed in the East throughout history, in political and geographical borders in terms of, primarily, book paintings, and discuss them in terms of orientalist point of view and today s practises. |

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods |
In this course, we will assess what the definitions of `East mean today, discuss the painting viewpoints emerging in the East, and make a visual explanation of Eastern painting. Students are asked to make a presentation about the topics determined at the beginning of the term and summit the presentation as a report. |

Reports and/or presentations are taken at the end of the term and final exam is evaluated by 100 points. |
