Course Objective

To teach African Human Rights System, Organization of African Unity and the human
rights documents and their protection systems which are accepted within the context of
African Unity.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To understand the role and importance of Organization of African Unity and African Unity about protection of human rights.
2   Have a command of Charter of the Organization of African Unity and the bodies which are accepted within the charter.
3   Have a command of The African Charter on Human and Peoples' Rights.
4   To express the functions and missions of the human rights protection mechanism in African human right system and especially the The African Court on Human and Peoples' Rights.
5   To express the rights and freedoms and auditing institutions in African system which are protected by other human rights' documents.
