Course Objective

To give the abilities and knowledge of the approach and first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation during the emergencies; which are because of the sudden sicknesses such as heart attack, diabetic coma, paralysis, epilepsy crisis and drowning, traumas, injuries which are occurred by house, work, traffic accidents, natural disaster.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To get to know the information which are related with first aid services which may help, first aid plans which will be used during all kind of sudden sicknesses and accidents.
2   To comprehend the basic principles of human body and first aid.
3   To be capable of implementing what to do for during the conditions such as problems of ventilation and circulation, cardiac arrest and airway clogging.
4   To be capable of analysing and comprehend the realations between body s basic mechanism and what to do on the body during the conditions such as problems of ventilation and circulation, cardiac arrest and airway clogging.
5   To be capable of evaluating all environmental and internal factors, and implement the gained knowledge by adapting in the right way during the event which needs first aid.
