Course Objective

The course aims to focus on regional dynamics of international business environment, supporting the student to specialise on a given region. As a sequel to the compulsory course Geo-Economic Areas , this elective course aims to enable students to further specialise on a given region with deeper and detailed insights.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Show a clear and detailed understanding of the characteristic business traditions in his/her region of specialisation.
2   On a comparative basis, demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of institutional mechanisms of economic and business environment with particular respect to his/her region of specialisation.
3   Analyse the current business and economic developments, with particular respect to regional dynamics.

1. Detailed descriptive and explanatory analysis of one of the major geo-economic regions;
2. Comparison of institutional mechanisms of economic and business environment in a given region or continent;
3. Analysis of current business and economic developments, with particular respect to regional dynemics.

2. Attending at least 70 percent of lectures is mandatory.
3. All assignments should be submitted on time. Otherwise will not be accepted.
