Course Objective

The course aims to provide detailed analyses on the business practices and traditions across the Far East Asian countries. The course will be centered on China, Japan, South Korea and Mekong Delta countries. The course is designed to provide insight on economics of Far East Asian countries, structural imbalances, trade relations, political systems, culture and religion.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Show a clear and detailed understanding of the differing business traditions in Far East Asia
2   On a comparative basis, demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of institutional mechanisms of economic and business environment across the Mekong Delta countries
3   Analyse the current business and economic developments in and around the China, with particular respect to their impact on global economy
