Course Objective

The aim of this course is to examine the psychological concepts related to social cognition, emotions, motivation, and the relationship between the self and cognition.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Being able to define basic concepts related to social cognition.
2   Being able to explain main approaches in social cognition.
3   Being able to give examples recent research on social cognition.
4   Being able to describe the importance of research on social cognition for different subfields of psychology.
5   Being able to pursue and critically evaluate current research concerned with social cognition.
6   Being able to contribute to field application concerned social cognition.
