Course Objective

The aim of this course is to examine basic concepts related to main psychological approaches, scientific method, biological roots of behavior, perception, consciousness, and memory.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Being able to describe basic concepts in relation to psychology
2   Being able to describe main theories in relation to psychology.
3   Being able to summarize basic principles in relation to different subfields of psychology discipline.
4   Being able to explain the relationships between different subfields of psychology and other related disciplines.
5   Being able to compare the differences and similarities between psychology and other disciplines.
6   Getting a comprehensive and integrative point of view about psychological science
