Course Objective

Acquire the knowledge and ability to perform and interpret laboratory and functional vestibular tests and be able to plan and perform vestibular rehabilitation.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to evaluate the vestibular system using laboratory vestibular tests.
2   To be able to evaluate the vestibular system using functional vestibular (balance) tests.
3   To be able to evaluate patients including via case history interview.
4   To be able to interpret laboratory and functional vestibular tests.
5   To be able to perform gate assessment using special methods.
6   To be able to interpret daily activities and handicaps in patient s with vestibular pathology.
7   To be able to plan, perform and assess the vestibular rehabilitation program.
