Course Objective

This course aims to examine the development of theories of criticism from the classical period to the twentieth century. These theories are evaluated in cultural and historical contexts. Important authors, concepts and movements in contemporary critical theories are discussed.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

Explaining the topic to students through interactive presentations and supporting it with visual materials, followed by in-depth analysis of the topic through student discussions.
