Course Objective

The aim of this course; the students obtain the basic skills related to folk dances, improve coordination to folk dances, the students recognize turkish folk dance and to be willing to play folk dance, the students cooperate in the folk dance and comply with leader and rules of folk dance

2   to learn zeybek dance of aegean region
3   to learn mendil dance of thrace region
4   to learn teke dance of Antalya, Isparta and Burdur
5   to recognize and to learn the various halay

1 1 to learn the regions of turkish folk dances
2 2 to obtain the basic skills related to folk dances

4 4 to recognize the lead of folk dance and to comply with rules of folk dance
5 5 to learn the steps theory and method of Zeybek dances implementation of steps
6 6 to learn the steps theory and method of Mendil dances implementation of steps
7 7 choreographic work about the two regions implementation
8 8 to learn the steps theory and method of Antalya region's Teke dances implementation of steps
9 9 to learn the steps theory and method of Isparta region's Teke dances implementation of steps
10 10 to learn the steps theory and method of Burdur region's Teke dances implementation of steps
11 11 merging the regions of three (Antalya, Isparta and Burdur)
12 12 to work about the choreographic of Teke dance implementation of choreographics to examine halay's to learn to work related to the costumes of all regions
