Course Objective

To comprehend Turkish cultural geography and to raise awareness about Turkish culture.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Explains the basic concepts and facts about population and settlement according to geographical principles.
2   Explains the basic concepts and facts about language, religion, culture and race in cultural geography according to geographical principles.
3   Explains the basic concepts and facts related to agriculture, animal husbandry, forestry, mining and aquaculture according to geographical principles.
4   Explains the basic concepts and facts related to industry, transportation, tourism and trade according to geographical principles.
5   Evaluates the relations between human and economic geography and physical geography according to geographical principles.
