Course Objective

Historical development of rowing sport, recognition of the materials used in rowing ergometer and rowing sport, teaching of rowing technique on rowing ergometer, teaching basic movements of rowing technique on boat.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Gives information about the materials used in rowing.
2   Defines basic techniques on a rower ergometer.
3   It makes the basic definition of the shovel technique on the boat.
4   It conveys the general characteristics of the shovel ergometer and the shovel technique on the boat
5   The contest rules of the competition.
