Course Objective

Basic understanding of the value of sport in athletics training, measures to be taken in promoting the culture of athletics, edit basic education practices in track and field, preparation of teaching-learning process simple educational tools and materials for branches, monitoring of ability children determination and orientation about ,understanding of the role is to coach, school and the family cooperation

1   Define the branches of Track and field
2   Understand the educational value of track and field
3   Define precautions to be taken for promoting the culture of athletics
4   Organize basic training practices of track and field.
5   Preparation of teaching-learning process simple educational tools and materials for branches
6   Giving information about monitoring ability of children in athletics and identify and orient them.
7   Define the role of coach in schools, clubs, and family cooperation

2 Educational value of athletics - Running technique exercises (Sprint ABC).
3 Measures to be taken in promoting the culture of athletics - Jumping technical exercises (Jumping ABC).
