Course Objective

The aim of this lecture is to introduce principles of upper extremity orthotic applications in addition to basic and advanced concepts related to the field of orthotics and rehabilitation.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   The student may define general orthotic principles 2   The student may analyze the interaction between human body and orthoses. 3   The student may define and apply principles related to the pediatric orthoses. 4   The student may define and apply principles related to the adult orthoses. 5   The student may follow and use literature related to the field of orthotics.
