Course Objective

This course aims to provide writing techniques for academic purposes.

1   Ability to write purpose, supporting and conclusion sentences
2   Ability to write on certain types of compositions
3   Ability to gather information to use in supporting explanations
4   Organise the collected information and ideas in a good way
5   Ability to make necessary corrections according to the given return

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

Teacher gives information to students academic writing types and their characteristics. In the clasroom, examples of the academic types are discussed with studients. And than students are divided into groups, and each group prepares and presents an academic product example as an assignment under the guidance of the teacher.
