Course Objective

Building gender awareness about culture and social life and earned the practicle knowledge about gender inequality and its struggles.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Knows the basic concepts of gender equality
2   Knows how to raise awareness of gender equality through education
3   Increasing awareness of the relationship between different professions and business life and gender
4   Increasing awareness of the relationship between arts and gender
5   Increasing awareness of the relationship between media and sports and gender
6   Have knowledge of how to produce projects to support gender equality

6 Social Gender - Women who took part in state management levels, from past to present, in the world and in Turkey
7 Social gender awareness-Occupations
8 Social gender awareness-Business life
9 Social gender awareness-Art
10 Social gender awareness- Literature
11 Social gender awareness- Sports
12 Social gender awareness-Media
13 Social Gender and Violence against Women
14 Factors affecting social gender awareness and what has been done and what needs to be done to raise awareness

The student, whose participation in the weekly discussion topic will be evaluated during the semester, will take the final exam at the end of the semester.
