Course Objective

To give basic theoretical and practical information on physical principles of electrotherapy modalities, physiologic effects, application methods, indications&contraindications and risks to the students, develop their application skills concerning treatment methods.

1   Describes basic concepts and principles of electrotherapy methods
2   Knows physical principles, physiologic effects and application methods of electrotherapy modalities
3   Applies electrotherapy modalities correctly
4   Describes indications&contraindications and risks of electrotherapy agents
5   Chooses patient and disease specific electrotherapy modalities
6   Knows and applies necessary basic assessment and measurement methods in order to apply electrotherapy agents
7   Assure the safety of the paitent and him/her own self
