Course Objective

Presentation of the software used in earth sciences, enabling use of the operator level.

3   Perform simple analyzes and models
4   Drilling, mining, and marble quarries digitization morphology
5   Drilling, Mining, and marble quarries in order to create digital data bank

Course Contents

Week Subject Description
1 Presentation of the software used in Earth Sciences. Opportunities.
2 NetPromine presentation software.
3 Create the project file, NetPromine software.
4 Create a database of drilling, NetPromine software.
5 Drilling and surface presentation of data entry panels.
6 Introduce the program and georeferencing image files
7 3D morphology of the project area to create the program.
8 Mid Term Exam
9 Lithologic and tectonic data for the site to transfer the program.
10 2D and 3D lithological, tectonic create solid models.
11 Drilling, galleries and open pit plans, build on the models created.
12 Quality and anomalymaps, create on the model established.
13 Maps, sections and preparation of model printing files.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

Lessons will be held computer class. Presentation of the software used in geological applications, and data entry panels will be made in practice. Using the data area of a mine site or marble quarry that is already created digitizing and data bank will be held.
