Course Objective

The purposes of the course are to define the basic art concepts, to develop aesthetic appreciation and creativity by using these concepts.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   1. To define the effects of light and shadow in geometric forms.
2   2. To transfer the objects to the paper by using points and lines.
3   3. To create the depth effect in two dimensions.
4   4. To make free hand drawings with geometric forms by using perspective systems.
5   5. To design new forms.
6   6. To apply light-dark, big-small, hot-cold color contrast.
