Course Objective

The aim of this course is to provide students with up-to-date information on professional work and issues carried out in institutions and organizations serving in the field of accounting and tax. In the course, the contributions and interactions of economic, social and technological changes to the profession are discussed. It is aimed to develop the ability to solve professional problems by focusing on professional practices encountered in business life, to gain awareness of continuous self-renewal with research and learning skills, and to teach presentation techniques.

Assessment Criteria

Learning outcomes will be assessed by group assignment presentation and report, and final exam. 50% of the assignment grade is determined by the presentation, and 50% is determined by the report. 90% of the presentation grade is determined by the evaluation of the instructor, and 10% is determined by the evaluation of group members.
