Course Objective

Be able to teach the general terms of jewelry, the techniques of jewelry in ancient times, the culvitation techniques of ornament stone and the history of jewelry of Hellenistic Age, Rome, and Byzantium.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Be able to define the basic concepts related with the history of jewellery.
2   Be able to explain, the technics of ancient period of jewelry.
3   Be able to explain ornament stones and techniques of engraving of ornaments stones in ancient period of jewelry.
4   Be able to establish the jewelry of ancient ages and the cultures of Finike, Etrusk and Celt.
5   Be able to establish the jewelry of the age of Hellenistic and Roman Empire.
