Course Objective

In this course, it is aimed to give the knowledge about the knitted fabrics manufactured with different pattern techniques and obtain knitting reports by analyzing different fabric structures.

1   To have the knowledge about different types of knitted fabrics.
2   To gain the ability to explain the logic of the knitted fabric formation.
3   To gain the ability to know the manufacturing technologies of knitted fabrics.
4   To gain the ability to analyze knitted fabric structures
5   To gain the ability to design different patterns of knitted fabrics

4 Analyzing methods and analysis of knitted structures produced in single bed weft knitting machines (the fabrics having tuck, miss and transferred stitches)
