Course Objective

It s aimed that student will study the trend subject before having design and production period and will have the information about main design principles so he /she can research and prepare trend sheet and story panel for designment. Student can prepare color palette , can have sketches , prepare surface designs , reports ,print exercises which are all main steps for a textile print surface.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   1 Have the information about design principles and designment procedure /period/process
2   2 Clothing for the design of printed fabric make the trend analysis and research on the subject.
3   3 Can realize the main idea of his/her design and can have visual and written research and can state in written and speech form
4   4 Aplication project and the story board sheet prepare the underlying trend.
5   5 Trend clipboard and detects the color palette in conjunction with the story board .
6   6 To have the information about exercises , surface preparation and kind of reports
7   7 Design principles and design process have the necessary knowledge to be of interest
8   8 To convert product design, printing and dyeing techniques.

1 1 To give the theorical knowledge of designment period and principles and to clarify the trend on printed fabric for costume
2 2 To have discussions and solutions on the trend of printed fabric for costume designs and then to prepare design sheet
3 3 To constitute main points of original design .To determine the design sheet and story

Teacher /teaching staff gives all the technic and theorical knowledge about all designment procedure starting from designing to production .In order to increase the creativity of the student on prodesign they let them to be free enough to reflect their creative and progressive effects on the product. Every student can offer any/every kind of new idea togather with class attendencwe without any objection during designment procedure .
Applications /Practices
Teacher give importance on the exercises that students increase their creativity during practices while searching the solutions for the problems that can occur during production period
