Course Objective

It is aimed to teach the transition from a single products to various products and teaching the necessary techniques fr forming the combination among products.

1   To be able to comprehend collection rationale,
2   To be able to view the collection from different perspectives,
3   To be able to use the difference in a collection unity,
4   To combine the difference with model, pattern, color and fabric combination and support it with production methods,
5   To have the necessary knowledge for producing the prepared collection as ready-made clothing

Course Contents

1 To explain the target group and its importance in preparing collection ,
2 To explain the research methods for preparing a collection for selected target group,
3 To determine the difference that will be used in preparing collection and to perform the sketch drawings
4 To determine the difference that will be used in preparing collection and to perform the sketch drawings
5 To select the basic models among the performed sketches for the project,
6 To select the basic models among the performed sketches for the project,
7 To determine the employed colour, pattern, fabric and stitching techniques
8 Mid-term exam
9 To study on the drape in order to produce one of the models
10 Sewing and transforming the models prepared on drape into a pattern for ready-made clothing,
11 Preparing the information on selected models technical drawing, fabric, label and accessories that could be produced in ready-made clothing,
12 Preparing the information on selected models technical drawing, fabric, label and accessories that could be produced in ready-made clothing,
13 Preparing a file for presenting and producing the models a whole,
