Course Objective |
This course aims teaching basic jewelry production, surface decoration techniques, general and chemical properties of gems, execution of transition from sketch stage to production stage according to given projects wholesomely, solving problems which may occur in production stage, transfer of technical information accurately by student in production stage. |

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods |
Within Content of Course; 1- Project Informing, Researching and Sketch Process:Educator who will instruct the course will convey project information, necessary material and project process to the students. Basic techniques which will be used for project will be conveyed to students both theoretically and practically. Visual research and sketch (drawing or pre-application) is requested from students according to qualification of project. Selected sketch s appropriateness with project is evaluated, criteria from design to production are considered and then sketch is selected or suggestions are provided for sketches which need to be developed. |
