Course Objective

The aim of this course is to teach the students the position of contemporary tile art, and also teach design issues and general features, both theoretically and practical.

1   research the current condition of Turkish Tile art
2   - determine the current problems of Turkish Tile art
3   suggest solutions for the problems of today s tiles
4   make designs in accordance with today s aesthetic concept,
5   comment on designs and present them
