Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods |
In this course, we emphasize the historical development of the written works with miniature and ornament in Early period of Islam, and introduce the main miniature styles. After being informed about the main resources on the subject, the students will be motivated to a library research to make a resource. They will also be asked to make a presentation to have a comment on the research methods and their knowledge. |

Further Notes About Assessment Methods |
The research scanning and the presentation quality of the students will be an important criteria in evaluation. They will also be observed while answering the questions in the lessons and participating the discussions after the lessons. Their creativity and originality will also be taken into consideration. |
Assessment Criteria |
The mid-term exam, the final exam, presentation and projects will be evaluated out of 100, and the average will be out of 100. |

After the theoretical knowledge will be given both orally and written, the practices will be made one-to-one with the students. The students are informed about the next lesson s subject and are expected to make a pre-study about it. |
