Course Objective

To understand cell behaviour at molecular level, molecular basis of genetic disorders and cancer, stem cell, immunology, genomics, bioinformatics and proteomics.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To have general knowledge about biological communication, signal transduction and control, cell cycle and cell death.
2   Describes the molecular basis of endocrine diseases.
3   Describes the molecular basis of cancer.
4   Describes the molecular basis of immunology and pathology.
5   To get know about human stem cells, human genome projects and contributions to medicine.
6   To have general knowledge about bioinformatic databases and their usage.
7   To have general knowledge about genomics,pharmacogenomics, proteomics and their applications.
8   To be able to get and discuss the articles related subject areas.
